A game about rating articles to maintain the status-quo and keep yourself out of jail. By approving and rejecting certain articles, you are able to influence the political landscape of your country. But be careful! Approve too many articles that go against the government and you may find yourself out of a job and in a jail cell.

Developed by Simon Grunwald and Trey Ramm

This game was made with an Arduino custom controller and has been hastily ported to the web. There are some UX issues that weren't fixed as a result.

Controls:
Left Click - Approve Articles, Select the green button
Right Click - Reject Articles, Select the blue button
Spacebar - Toggle between your employee dashboard and the country dashboard

Notes:

This game is designed to be played at an exhibition. The country dashboard (dark) will be projected onto a screen for all attendees to see. Players will sit down at the employee dashboard (light), and approve or reject articles. Their choices will be sent to a simulation of the country and subsequently change the results of the simulation. Players are only allowed one play session at a time and articles which go against the goals of the government will be punished harshly. For players to shift the country's political compass, they will need to work collectively to change things for the better.

Known Bugs:

When you are asked what 1+1 is, you need to left click for green, or right click for blue. THEY ARE NOT BUTTONS

Sometimes your literacy rating will drop to 0 when rejecting an article. We aren't sure why...

The final UI screen does not appear. When you get a jailed message, you need to left or right click to reset the game.
